Newly-installed Terrace Screens and stunning Flower Boxes spruce up Carrs Pasties café in Bolton.
It was our absolute pleasure to work with Bolton’s finest bakery, Carrs Pasties, to give its Market Place shop a makeover with Terrace Screens and bespoke Flower Boxes.
Now customers to the iconic bakery, which has been supplying pasties to the people for more than 80 years, are enjoying a Carrs pasty on a perfect terrace!
Our hospitality products have transformed the outdoor area and shoppers have been soaking up the atmosphere ever since.
What did we deliver?
Our brief was simple and that’s because the team at Carrs Pasties knew exactly what their customers would want – an intimate place to sit down and enjoy quality food whilst shielded from the wind and rain and protected from the sun.
We supplied eight branded, made-to-measure Gibli Terrace Screens to the Bolton bakery but that wasn’t all. Our stunning Flower Boxes add to the aesthetics and teamed perfectly with the brand’s other outdoor products – making the cafe a big hit with Bolton shoppers.
It was vital we made the outdoor seating area and terrace completely weatherproof so more customers could enjoy the terrace long after summer – and enjoy dining alfresco during the pandemic. We were also asked to ensure that the products were easy to manoeuvre for staff setting up and packing away, so we added wheels.

The request from Carrs Pasties was to provide customers with a comfy spot in town so their regular customers could enjoy a quick pit stop.
The seating area needed to be fully weatherproofed so shoppers would be protected from the wind, rain and sun – 365 days of the year.
Our Terrace Screens, complete with Flower Boxes, enclosed the outdoor seating area and combined they successfully shield customers from the wind and rain.
The terrace transformation has enhanced the Market Place shop and simply celebrates everything that’d good about one of Bolton’s best businesses, Carrs Pasties.

Strong family values make Carrs Pasties, Bolton’s finest bakery, what it is today. The team is proud to still be supplying pasties to the people of Bolton and says some staff have been with the business for over 30 years, serving, baking, producing and delivering products to the masses.
When you deliver as many fresh pasties as Carrs, team work is vital. It’s also important to listen to customers and maintain an excellent relationship with them.
Despite the challenges of 2020, Carrs Pasties announced plans to makeover the Market Place bakery and café and they were true to their word. Just look at the new terrace! More exciting projects will be announced soon.
