We’ve created a fleet of stunning ice cream carts serving up award-winning ice cream across the UK.
Ice cream makers, Jude’s Ice Cream, asked for a light-weight, easy-to-manoeuvre mobile ice cream cart – and we have now produced 18!
The team at Jude’s are dishing out their deliciously stripey tubs of joy from their equally delicious stripey carts – thanks to our expert design team.
About the collaboration
When we were initially contacted by Jude’s Ice Cream, we were keen to find out exactly what they wanted and why their current carts weren’t working very well for them.
After a lengthy conversation, it soon became clear that their carts were heavy and hard to move around and operatives were struggling with what was perhaps an impractical design.
Our brief was to create an ice cream cart that reflected Jude’s already famous reputation and develop a product that synchronised with their corporate colours and matched the quality of their award-winning artisan ice cream.
It was vital to the design team that the new carts had greater manoeuvrability but at the same time, enough space to hold, display and sell Jude’s expanding range of ice cream.
The first order was for five ice cream carts
As specialists in hospitality and event solutions, we worked closely with Jude’s Ice Cream from start to finish – and the Hampshire-based family business was thrilled with the initial cart.
Since production, one takes pride of place at the Tate Gallery in London and another sits beautifully in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
It’s our job to work with clients who need hospitality solutions. We work with businesses across the UK helping them increase their trade by making them look their best, in this case mobile ice cream carts, for outdoor or indoor use.
We designed and built these mobile ice cream carts which matched perfectly Jude’s corporate colours, branding and business ethos.
How we waved our magic for Jude’s
The previous carts were made from a mixture of wood and MDF and were hard to manoeuvre.
As part of our redesign, we worked with a light-weight aluminium so the new carts would be easy to move, store and transport. We also created extra storage by incorporating cabinets and cupboards.
Using the most up-to-date innovation and technology, we were able to produce a fleet of bespoke mobile carts and since then they’ve become an integral part of Jude’s multi award-winning business.
From the initial order of five ice cream carts, we have gone on to produce a further 13 – that’s 18 mobile carts overall.
It is great news for everyone involved as it strengthens a retailer’s opportunity to unleash greater profit and focus on the mobile food industry.
