Newly-installed Terrace Screens, Parasols & Outdoor Heaters attract thousands of beer buffs to the Baltic Fleet in Liverpool
If visitors aren’t flocking to the Baltic Fleet to spot its resident ghost or buy a pint of its finest beer, they’re coming to enjoy the pub’s newly-transformed outdoor area – complete with new Terrace Screens – Gibli, bespoke Parasols and high-calibre Outdoor Heaters.
Since we supplied our hospitality products, thousands of people have been soaking up the atmosphere at the 19th century pub, which sits opposite the city’s historic dock complex in Liverpool.
One of the few surviving traditional boozers in Merseyside, we’ve enhanced what the 200-year-old pub already had to offer and given guests a stunning outdoor area to enjoy.
What was paramount as part of this project is that we kept visitors dry when it rained, warm when temperatures dropped and protected from the sun.
What did we deliver?
A number of made-to-measure Terrace Screens from the Gibli range were supplied to the traditional pub. They were colour-matched to complement the pub’s exterior and teamed perfectly with the furniture, which was already being enjoyed by guests.
As part of the service, we produced a CAD drawing to show how the Terrace Screens would look outside the pub. These were sent to the project’s architect and were passed by listed building regulations.
We also needed to measure up and work out which one of our commercial Parasols would be best suited to provide shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.
Our team installed several Bella Parasols – a great value, premium quality and strong parasol.
Finally, to add the finishing touches to the Baltic Fleet, a traditional and extremely popular olde-worlde bar, we fitted Outdoor Heaters to the Parasols to ensure guests were comfortably warm while they sat outside.
Our Outdoor Heaters can keep people warm outside and because they are attached to the Parasols, they save valuable wall and floor space.
The enquiry for our products came from Simon Holt, owner of the Baltic Fleet.
His request was simple.
“Make the outside look as good as the inside,” he said.
