Terrace or Social Distancing Screens around your hospitality area or indeed in any business context are the perfect opportunity for your to promote and advertise your brand or if in the hospitality sector, the branding of a sponsor or drinks supplier at a sporting venue such as a racecourse or within a beer garden or patio area at a hotel, bar or restaurant.
Solid powder-coated under-panels can match or contrast the colour of the screen frame and both glass and/or under panels can be personalised accordingly.
When considering Terrace Screens and installation, ground fixings or stabilisers will be required.
Options available are:
Fixed Foot
This is used when the installation is permanent and on a hard surface such as concrete, patio slabs etc. It is drilled into the ground with 4 x drill points on a 150mm square metal plate.
When we undertake surveys, we will advise on the fixing requirements for your specific installation.
Portable
If floor fixings are not allowed, or your installation is temporary the portable feet fixings are more suitable and there are different types available, which we will provide advise on when we undertake surveys. They protrude 275mm on either side of the screen (total 500mm). 2 are required per screen, with half portable feet fixings available when angled joints are incorporated into the installation.
Some customers use their own barrels or something similar such as planters, to place over the portable legs to provide more stability and cover the feet. This is particularly useful when the terrace screens are installed on a footpath, pavement or thoroughfare where people are going to be passing by to ensure there is no trip hazard.
Mobile
You may have an installation area, which requires you to remove your pavement screens at the end of the day, for which we offer the option of castors – particularly suited when you are looking for easy to manouevre terrace screens to enable you to wheel them in and out depending on the requirements. To ensure stability of the mobile pavement screen, it is essential to include planters for one side of the terrace screen.
These Terrace Screens are manufactured to the highest quality and incorporate the following features:
- 6mm toughened glass is used throughout for safety;
- Hot dip galvanised foot assemblies to avoid corrosion;
- Screws fix the aluminium end caps to securely locate the glass and prevent loss;
- Strong and secure foot to screen interface
- For durability and perfect colour match under-panels of zinc coated steel are powder-coated.
- All frame joints are metal-metal and secured with 2 screws
- All cut frame ends are powder-coated
- Aluminium frame extrusions are internally reinforced for maximum durability
- Modular system to fit most areas.
- Enable creation of sectioned off areas to comply with social distancing regulations

Manufactured in the UK to the highest quality, all glass is 6mm toughened safety glass. Frameworks and brackets are powder-coated aluminium and for increased durability fixing hardware is hot dipped galvanised steel.
